Meeting
What does a house church meeting look like?
We have teaching, fellowship, meals, prayer, scripture reading, personal encouragement, giving of thanks, and songs; Acts 2:44-46, Ephesians 4:12-16, Colossians 3:15-17, and 1 Corinthians 14. We believe that every Christian is a valuable part of the church and has something to offer as God has gifted them (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). Our gatherings are open for the saints to exercise their gifts, and at the same time kept orderly.
How long does a house church meeting last?
A house church 'meeting' involves many parts. A meeting usually involves, catching up on life through conversation, sharing a meal or two together, having a worship gathering, etc. Sometimes we are together for a few hours or all day. Sometimes a family can only make it for an hour or two. Worship gatherings (songs, testimony, sharing scripture, prayer, etc) can last 1-2 hours, depending on how the Spirit is leading.
How many times each week does a house church gather?
There is no set number of weekly gatherings, but we encourage all followers of Christ to meet as regularly as possible. (Hebrews 10:24 and 25, Acts 2:42 to 47, and Hebrews 3:13) Each house church is different and operates independently. Therefore, each church will differ in how often they meet.

"We want to measure the church's sending capacity more than its seating capacity." (Church 3.0 - Neil Cole)
