How does the house church look at safety when new people come into the house?
We want to get to know all new people in our community and want to ensure that they are welcome as well as making sure everyone is safe. We try to use a discerning heart, coupled with prayer, when we engage people we are unfamiliar with.
Are children safe in the house church when visitors are present?
We make sure that all of our children and members are in an open areas and we close off isolated areas of our home. We have adults supervising children when we are not gathered together. Ultimately, we are a family and if someone wants to be a part of our church, we seek to know them and trust them as family. However, when new people visit or are new we proceed with more caution.
